To support the safety of our team and clients McTavish maintains independently-verified corporate safety certifications, including formal audit processes. We are a registered member of ISNetworld. ISNetworld is an online database that allows clients to review contractor safety policies and procedures, and for contractors to self-report safety conformance details pertaining to specific clients’ standards.

Our field staff are e-RAILSAFE CANADA contractor certified. e-RAILSAFE CANADA is a system that ensures that our employees comply with Railway mission critical policies, practices and standards on safety and security. Our field staff are screened, trained and certified to work in proximity to CN Railway lines in Canada.

McTavish maintains Gold Shovel Standard Certification. “Gold Shovel Standard is a nonprofit organization that fills an industry gap by providing third-party confirmation of baseline Safety Management Systems for the protection of buried assets, and fair and transparent metrics for damage prevention. Gold Shovel Standard certified organizations can be recognized to be best-in-class.”
