Involvement

Trans Mountain requires environmental support to manage capital and operations and maintenance projects along the Trans Mountain Pipeline System in the Lower Mainland and Interior of BC. McTavish provides environmental consulting in BC to ensure compliance, reduce environmental impacts and support safe and efficient project delivery.

Project Work

McTavish has recently provided a full suite of environmental services for:

  • Two pipeline replacement projects with open-cut installation through forested and freshwater aquatic habitats
  • 12 geohazard sites involving clearing, river realignment and bank revetment in the Coldwater River and Coquihalla River watersheds
  • Low depth of cover and pipeline integrity dig programs
  • Marine terminal dock decommissioning

Through these projects, McTavish continues to deliver environmental expertise that supports the ongoing safety and sustainability of Trans Mountain’s operations across BC.
